The Fine Art Portrait Process
Pre-Shoot Consultation:
The pre-shoot consultation can be done in person at my studio, your home or office, video chat using tools such as Zoom or telephone. During the consultation we’ll get to know each other as well as discuss wardrobe, grooming, expectations and any questions or concerns you might have. Image and portrait art pricing and options will also be discussed.
You’ll also receive an email prior to your appointment with all my recommendations to make your portrait session the absolute best.
Your Session:
I suggest you arrive at least 15 minutes early. This will give you a chance to relax and settle in before your session. The typical portrait sitting lasts about 2 hours but I’m generous with my time and I do not rush the process so if we go over in the pursuit of the perfect images that’s OK. Likewise, I’d ask that you are not scheduled so tightly that you’ll be rushed either.
Posing:
You will get complete coaching with posing guidance from me throughout your portrait session. I strive for the most authentic poses and expressions for my clients that reflect who you are as a person as well as how amazing you look. I’ve literally photographed thousands of people over the past 25 years … every personality and body type you can imagine … I’ll know exactly how to bring out the best in you!
Post Portrait Sales Session:
After your session I’ll review every image that was taken during your shoot. I’ll then select the best of the best in terms of look, feel and composition.
Next we’ll schedule an appointment for you to view and select your images and decide on purchase options and packages. This meeting can either take place at my office, your home or office or done virtually with the use of specialized conferencing software … all you’ll need is an internet connection, a quiet space and about an hour.
During your sales session we’ll finalize your purchases and payment will be made. You’ll be able to leave with your beautiful images in one of my elegant folio box the same day! If you decide to order wall art, or it was included in your package, it will take approximately 2 – 4 weeks depending on the type and size.

These stunning matted portrait prints are printed in-house to assure the absolute highest quality and longevity possible. I use a variety of the highest quality fine art archival papers imported directly from Germany from mills that have been in continual business for over 400 years. I only use lab tested archival grade inks. The mats I use are thick, museum rated achival, acid free and buffered.
Your prints, properly cared for, will last 100+ years using my printing process!

Folio Print Boxes
This amazing product is the flagship item in my portrait display lineup and is the most elegant way to display your images.
My folio boxes are imported directly from Europe and are the highest quality available on the market today. Designed to last generations, they feature a window top to display any image of your choice and holds 5 – 30 matted images that you’ll select during your reveal session or add to over the years.
Each folio box comes in either black or white with your choice of either black or white premium quality achival acid free mats.
Also included with your folio box is a beautiful custom flash drive with high resolution digital copies of all the images you purchase. These digital images can be posted, shared and enjoyed on any digital device. The flash drives I use have the highest grade memory available, UDP, for the most safe and secure backup and longevity possible.
